Pretty Creepy Coloring Book is a 31-page coloring book that blends botanical forms with spooky, atmospheric elements. I was given full creative freedom over the subject matter and layout, allowing me to shape the eerie-but-beautiful tone of the collection from start to finish. The initial inspiration for this coloring book was a series of drawings for an October drawing challenge where I used frames to contain each prompt. From there it expanded to a wide variety of drawings including patterns, frame layouts, flash page style layouts, and more. Working closely with Dover’s team through rounds of internal reviews, I ensured the final illustrations balanced detail, style, and print clarity across both linework and color.
