The person behind the sketchbook

Hi, I'm Hannah Konetzki, an illustrator and graphic designer based on the East Coast. I create hand-drawn illustration and surface pattern work for publishers, brands, and licensing projects, with a focus on botanical and fantasy subject matter.

I started my career in graphic design, and that foundation shapes everything about how I work. I proof my work, refine as I go, and treat every deadline like it matters. But the design background never gets in the way of the playful, intricate side of illustration that drew me to it in the first place. I've illustrated coloring books and spot illustrations for books found in retailers like Target, Barnes & Noble, and Hobby Lobby; and I'm always looking for the next project where craft and care are genuinely appreciated.
